GRATUS AETERNUM
Like many creative types, I am a lifelong learner. Along the way, I have studied under and been mentored by some amazing artists and designers. I am especially grateful to the following people: Hank Zyp, Margaret Rose, Brian Ellis, Ronald Ponech, Milton Glaser, John Cooper, Bill Morton, Joy Walker, Robert Genn, Chris Wootton, and Harold Klunder.
I am also very thankful to paint regularly with a wonderful group of artists from the Comox Valley and Campbell River, called The Wet Paint Art Group. The non-stop art conversations and encouragement keep us fuelled and inspired. We are looking forward to showing our work again at The Old Schoolhouse in Qualicum, BC, in the fall of 2025. I am also grateful to be partnering with two abstract artist soulmates in 'ABSTRACT: TO THE POWER OF 3' with Yin Hoskins and Jenny Mitchell at Artful: The Gallery, opening September 14th, 2024, in Courtenay, BC.
Gratus aeternum to my mother, Josephine Prodor, who singled me out of a brood of seven children and took me to my first art class at the Edmonton Art Gallery when I was just eight years old. ❤️
