5) WET PAINT ART GROUP at the Pearl Ellis Gallery, January 13th to February 5th, 2022
A group of art friends who have painted and shared their passion for several years are excited to be showing their work at the Pearl Ellis Gallery from January 13th to February 5th, 2022. Thirteen artists from the The Wet Paint Art Group, hailing from Courtenay, Comox, Black Creek, and Campbell River, plan to delight the senses with their fresh array of new paintings and 3D artwork.
The art of Diana Caldwell, Loree Cunningham, Stephenie Davidson, Lynda Glover, Shelly Hollingshead, Yin Hoskins, Jenny Mitchell, Michelle Ohlsson, Elaine Prodor, Lesley Rieck, Kathi Rudko, Victoria Scott, and Nancy Townsend represent a wide range of experience from a few years to more than two decades. An eclectic mix of subjects and styles, from representational to abstract, in a variety of mediums (acrylic, oil, watercolour, and mixed media) will be on display at the show.
While our coastal environment and natural world can be seen reflected in many of the artists’ works, the style and interpretation of each painter is unique.
For a complete list of the group members over the years and their individual bios, samples of their artworks and show photos, please check out the group website: www.wetpaintshowandsale.weebly.com
